Why public sessions?
Libre software is said to be of a difficult access, written by
programmers and hackers for themselves and their fellows.
However, libre software is gaining popularity. Its quality,
the philosophy which presides its conception and its improvement,
attract an ever increasing audience of non-specialists.
The goal of these public sessions is to allow people who are not
necessarily programmers to discover what gains libre software can
bring them in the professional and home areas, as well as what
themselves can bring to libre software.
These public sessions will take place on the campus of the Université Bordeaux
I as well as at ENSEIRB. To
get there, please look at the practical information.
Entrance is free. Registration is mandatory
only if you wish to participate in practical workshops. In order to
reach the largest audience, most presentations will be made in French.
